Khaja Soft Drinks

The GNT Road is always full of trucks and cars going somewhere else in a hurry. We are right here in Fataganjpetta, right on the edge of the busy road. It is a convenient spot for people who are traveling and need to stop for a minute to rest. Khaja Soft Drinks is mostly just a big room with a lot of cooling units and stacks of plastic crates. I spend a lot of my day sitting on a wooden stool near the entrance, watching the traffic pass by. When a truck pulls over, we have to move fast to get the driver what he wants so he can get back on his way. The air is always a bit thick with exhaust fumes from the highway, so we keep the doors half-shut during the busy hours. We have a small television in the corner that we watch when things are quiet in the afternoon. The shelves are plain wood and we built them ourselves when we moved in. It is not a fancy place, just a functional one for the business. We get a lot of the same drivers coming through every week, so we have become friends with a few of them over the years. My brother handles the inventory and I do the sales at the front. We have been here for several years now and we have seen the road get wider. We just keep the drinks cold and wait for the next customer.
