Jyanthi Potha Raju

Being in Guntur is mostly about dealing with the heat and the dust, but we like it here. Jyanthi Potha Raju isn't some big corporation. It’s just me and a couple of guys working out of our space in Guntur - 522002. We’ve been at this address for a long time. Some people ask why we don't move to a bigger city, but Guntur has everything we need. Most of our day is spent answering the phone and writing things down in a ledger. We don't use many computers because the old way works fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside and wait. It gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors. My father started things off, and I just kept it going. There’s no secret to what we do. We just show up on time and try not to make mistakes. If we do mess up, we try to fix it right away. It’s a lot of manual work, and my hands are usually dirty by noon. We don’t have a fancy sign or a big website. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they’ve lived here as long as we have. Jyanthi Potha Raju is just a name on the door, but to us, it’s just our daily life. We hope to stay here for many more years, just doing what we know how to do.
