Josh Ice Crems & Cool Drinks

We are right in the Market Center, near the Palanadu Bus Stand Road. It is a loud spot. You can hear the buses pulling in and the conductors shouting all day long. We are also near the Syndicate Bank. People come in after doing their banking or while they are waiting for their ride. We keep the coolers stocked with drinks. It is a lot of lifting and wiping down the metal counters. The floor gets a bit sticky, so we are always mopping it. We do not have any air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum. It gets very crowded in the evenings when the market is full of people. We just hand out bottles and cones as fast as we can. There isn't much space to sit, so most people just stand outside. We have been here since the market was much smaller than it is now. The neighbors have changed, but the noise stays the same. We enjoy the chaos of the bus stand area. It makes the day go by fast. We do not have a big menu, just what people like. It is simple. We open early and close late. Sometimes we run out of change and have to ask the bank people for help. It is just a regular day at the shop for us. We keep at it.
