Our office is located in Guntur, over on the 4th line of Lakshmipuram. It’s a busy residential and commercial area, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. The building is an older house that we converted into an office space. It has high ceilings and big windows, which helps a bit with the heat. Guntur can get incredibly hot, especially in May, so we keep the fans on full blast all day. We have a lot of people coming in and out—engineers, contractors, and suppliers. Tsvsr Gupta is usually around here making sure the paperwork is in order. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare, so we all try to get in before the rush. There’s a small tiffin center nearby that we practically live off of. Their idlis are the best in Lakshmipuram. Our office has a bit of a leak in the roof when it rains really hard, so we have a specific bucket we put out. It’s those little quirks that make the place feel like ours. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We’ve got stacks of cement bags sometimes sitting in the hallway if they need to be moved quickly to a site. It’s a working office, not a showroom. The walls are covered with project schedules and charts. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or out at various sites around Andhra Pradesh. We aren't interested in looking polished. We just want to get the projects finished. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things get a bit chaotic with all the different moving parts. But we manage to keep things going. It’s just us, working hard in the heart of Guntur.
