Hotel Anand Swaroop

Hotel Anand Swaroop is located on the 8th line in Bharathi Pet, just off Amaravati Road in Naidupet. Guntur is a busy place, and our corner of it is no different. We’ve been here for several years. It started out small and we’ve just kept it going. The building is tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the 8th line to find us. We don't have any big marketing budgets or fancy signs. Most of our work is just keeping the place tidy and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. We get a lot of people who are in town for agricultural work or visiting family. It's a simple setup. We have some tables for eating and a few rooms. It’s nothing like the big hotels you see in the cities. We do everything ourselves, from the laundry to the cooking. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the old fans, but that's just part of living here. We don't have a big menu, just a few things we know how to make well. The staff are all local people from the neighborhood. We don't have any formal mission or anything. We just want to make sure people have a place to stay when they need one. It's a lot of long hours, especially during the harvest season when everyone is busy. We just keep doing what we've always done.
