You can find Harini Enterprises right across from the State Bank in Patnam Bazar. It’s a busy spot, especially on bank holidays or at the start of the month when everyone is out doing their errands. The shop is at number 24-2 64, though the numbers on this street can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We handle a bit of everything. It’s the kind of place where people stop by to ask questions or see what we have in stock this week. I’ve been working here since I was much younger. The floor is concrete and we have these big metal shutters that are heavy to lift in the morning. Patnam Bazar is always loud with scooters and people shouting, so it’s never really quiet inside the shop. We keep our ledgers in those big yellow notebooks. It’s an old way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone wants something, they just walk in and we talk. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door, so we have to move the boxes around so nothing gets wet. It's just a local business trying to stay busy. We know most of the people who walk past the door by their first names. It’s not a fancy life, but it keeps us fed. The shop has been here a long time and we just keep the shelves full.
