Guntur General Hospital

Guntur General Hospital is located right on the Main Road, near Station Road. It’s a spot that’s easy to get to if you’re coming from the train or just walking through town. Being on a main road means it’s never really quiet. We have people coming in at all hours. Some are just looking for the pharmacy, while others need to see a doctor because they’ve been feeling poorly for a week. The building has been here for quite some time, and it shows in some of the corners, but we keep the medical areas as tidy as possible. We handle a bit of everything here. It’s a general hospital, so you might see someone with a broken arm sitting next to someone with a cold. The doctors and nurses stay busy moving between the different rooms. I usually help with the intake or showing people where to go. It can be a bit confusing if you’ve never been here before because of how the hallways are laid out. We try to keep the benches in the waiting area clear, but during the middle of the day, it's usually full. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the basic stuff needed to run a hospital. People know us as the place on the corner of the main road. We just try to get people seen and sent home with what they need. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do every day here for the city.
