Guntur City Hospital

Down here at Guntur City Hospital on Bold Club Road, things never really slow down. We are right in the Kothapet area, so there's always a lot of foot traffic and bikes zooming past the front. I’ve been helping out here for a few years, and you get used to the noise from the street. It’s a local place where people from the surrounding blocks come when they aren't feeling right. We have the usual stuff you’d expect—beds, some equipment, and a small staff that knows most of the regulars by name. It isn't a massive place, but we manage to fit a lot in. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit stuffy when it’s hot outside, but we do what we can with the fans. We see a lot of different cases every day. Some people just need a prescription refilled, while others come in with something more serious that needs looking at right away. We try to keep the floors clean despite everyone walking in and out all day long. It's a lot of practical work, nothing too flashy. Most of us just want to get through the day and make sure the patients are taken care of. You might have to wait a bit on Monday mornings because that's always our busiest time. That's just the way it works here in Guntur. We’re just a regular hospital doing what needs to be done. We keep the doors open for the neighborhood and do our best with what we have.
