Gowrivallabha Chit Fund is located in Guntur at Anjaneya Arcade. Our office is Flat No. 201 on the 1st Lane of Nandanavanam. It’s right on JKC College Road, so there are always students and people moving about outside. The building is easy to find once you get onto the lane. We run a no-frills operation here. The office is just a regular flat that we’ve turned into a workspace. We have some desks, a few chairs for the members, and lots of shelves for our books. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We handle the daily tasks of running a chit fund, like collecting money and updating the subscriber lists. People from the local area come in throughout the day. We know most of them quite well by now. It’s a very hands-on business. We don't have a fancy website or a big team of people. It’s just us making sure the auctions go smoothly and the accounts stay balanced. Sometimes the traffic on JKC College Road is a bit loud, but we don't mind it. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The office can get a little crowded during the auction days, but that’s when things are most interesting. We keep the ledgers updated by hand and on the computer to make sure everything is double-checked. It’s a practical way to help people save their money. We've been at this spot for a good while.
