Dhulipalla Hospital

Dhulipalla Hospital is situated in Kothapet, right across from the Sivalayam temple. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and the morning activities quite clearly from our front step. It gives the place a certain feel, especially during festival times when the whole street gets crowded with people. We’ve been operating in this Kothapet location for a while, and most of our patients are folks who live within walking distance or just a short rickshaw ride away. The hospital itself is a modest building. We keep the floors mopped and the benches in the waiting area lined up against the wall. It’s not a huge place, so you’ll often see the same nurses and assistants moving between the rooms. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just us here on the ground. When the afternoon sun hits the front of the building, it can get a bit warm, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People stop in because they know where we are and they’re comfortable coming here. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. We just focus on the people coming through the door and making sure the records are kept straight. It’s a local operation, through and through, and we like being part of the daily life here near the temple.
