Over in Piduguralla, things can get pretty dusty because of all the limestone and mineral work going on. We are Delight Chemicals and our place is in Vijaya Nagar. If you walk around here, you’ll see a lot of white powder on the roads and the trucks. That’s just life in this part of the country. We handle a lot of chemical processing that involves these local minerals. It’s a tough environment, especially when the sun is beating down on the sheds. We have a small team of people who have been with us for years. They know the machines inside and out. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that; usually, you’ll just find someone at a desk covered in papers or out on the floor checking the bags. We spend our days coordinating with the loaders and making sure the batches are consistent. It’s practical work that doesn’t leave much room for standing around. The local tea stall nearby is where most of us end up during the afternoon break to get away from the noise for a bit. We’ve been part of the Vijaya Nagar landscape for a while now, just doing our thing and getting the product out to the customers who need it for their own construction or industrial projects. It’s a simple operation but it keeps us very busy every single day of the week.
