Arun Ice Creams

Our shop is at Door No 9-6-18, right on Edu Care College Street in the Narasaraopet Bazar area. Since we are so close to the college, we see a lot of students throughout the day. They usually come in groups between their classes or after they finish for the day. The bazar is always a noisy place with people shouting and bikes zooming past. It’s a small storefront, but we manage to fit a lot into it. We spend our mornings getting everything ready and checking the stock that came in overnight. It is a bit of a squeeze when the delivery truck arrives because the street is so narrow. We have a few chairs, but most kids just stand around and talk outside. The weather here can be really dry and hot, so the cold stuff sells well. I’ve been working here for a few years now and I know most of the shop owners on this street. We help each other out when someone needs change or a hand with something. It isn't a glamorous job, just a lot of standing and serving. We keep the place clean and make sure the freezers stay at the right temperature. It’s a busy life in the bazar, but we like it. The noise of the market becomes like background music after a while. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down in the evening.
