Sudha Industries

Tenali is a place where everyone knows someone who knows you. Sudha Industries is tucked away at Plot No:23 in the AP Industrial Estate expansion. Guntur is known for its heat and its spices, but in our little corner, it’s all about the metal and the manufacturing. The shop floor is usually where you’ll find most of us. It’s a bit noisy, and there is always some scrap lying around that needs clearing. We’ve been running this place without much fuss for years. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that; we just answer the phone when it rings. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a functional space in Andhra Pradesh. We get a lot of local workers who have been doing this kind of thing since they were young. Sometimes the electricity is a bit patchy, so we have to plan our heavy work for the mornings. We sit outside on the plastic chairs during lunch and talk about local news or whatever is happening in the estate. It’s a simple life. We make sure the orders are ready on time, and that’s about it. There isn't any fancy lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and find someone who isn't too busy to talk. The gate squeaks a bit when you open it, but we’ve never bothered to oil it because it lets us know when someone arrives.
