Alstom Power

Our office is located at B22 Svn Colony, which is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads. Alstom Power has its roots here, and we’ve been working out of this location for a good stretch of time. It’s not a huge industrial site, just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day tasks. The colony is mostly houses, so it’s got a very different feel than an office park. You’ll see neighbors walking their dogs or kids playing while we are inside dealing with power project details. We aren’t trying to be the biggest name out there; we just focus on getting the work done right. The office is a bit cluttered with blueprints and old files, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the heat in the afternoons gets a bit much, but we have the fans going and we keep at it. We’ve always preferred this setup because it feels more personal. You don’t have to go through five layers of management to talk to someone here. We just answer the phone or open the door ourselves. It’s a steady pace of life. We’ve gotten to know the people around here well over the years. We aren't big on meetings that last hours for no reason. We’d rather just fix the problem and move on to the next thing. That’s how we’ve always done it at B22.
