Sunnyvista Hotels Private Limited is right on A.B. Road in Guna. We are near the State Bank of India branch. Being on the Agra-Bombay road means we see a lot of trucks and travelers passing through at all hours. Vidushi Vadhwa and the rest of us started this because Guna is a major stop for people driving across the state. It’s not a quiet place. You can always hear the horns and the engines from the highway. We are used to it by now. The hotel is a practical building. We don't have gold-plated faucets or anything like that. We have clean beds and working fans. That is what people usually want when they’ve been driving for ten hours. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust that blows in from the road. Guna is a tough place in the summer, really hot, so we make sure the water is always cold. We don't have a marketing department. Most people just see the sign from the road and pull in. We handle the front desk ourselves. Sometimes we are short-staffed and have to help with the bags or the tea. It’s just how it is running a local hotel. We are just local people providing a place for travelers to put their heads down for a night.
