Kc Rural Development Foundation

Kc Rural Development Foundation is located out in Village - Sundapo, Chirgaon. We are at Roshan Lal’s place. It’s a proper rural setting, which is exactly where we need to be. Being in Tehsil Chirgaon means we are right in the middle of the community. We don’t have a fancy office building with elevators or air conditioning. Our workplace is just part of the everyday village life. You’ll often see chickens running around outside and people walking their cattle past the front door. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours. Roshan Lal has been kind enough to let us use this space for the foundation's work. We spend our days talking to the villagers and trying to figure out how to help with development around here. It’s not a fast-paced environment like the city. Things take time, and we are okay with that. The air is clean, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a big sign out front, just the knowledge that we are here if someone needs us. It's mostly just sitting on the porch or in the small back room we use for filing, talking through the needs of the village. It’s honest work. We don't have a lot of resources, but we have plenty of time and a local connection that you can't get in a city office. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going until the job is done.
