Our operation is based in Gulbarga, Karnataka. When you think about this part of the country, cement is a big part of the landscape. We spend our days dealing with the production and logistics of getting cement out to where it needs to go. The environment here is very industrial. There’s always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of machinery in the distance. It’s not a quiet office job. We are right in the middle of the district, and the weather can get pretty hot, which makes the work even more tiring. Our team is made up of local people who know the area well. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy presentations. Instead, we are looking at schedules and making sure the machinery is running like it should. Lunch breaks are usually spent in the shade, just catching a bit of a breeze if there is one. We’ve been part of the Gulbarga industrial scene for a long time, and we just keep doing what we do. It’s a straightforward business. We make cement, we load it, and we send it off. There’s a rhythm to it that you get used to after a while. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s what we know. We don't try to dress it up. It’s just a group of people working together in the Karnataka heat to keep things moving.
