Over here in Gulbarga, we operate the Torsteel Research And Foundation In India from Plot No-43 in Deva Nagar. We are right on the Old Jewargi Road, which is usually a hive of activity. Gulbarga is known for being quite hot, and our office definitely feels it during the summer months. We aren't a big, flashy research center like you might find in the capital. It's more of a local hub where we focus on the technical side of steel and construction standards. The building is simple and honest. We have some testing equipment, a lot of technical manuals, and a few old computers that have seen better days. There is usually a bit of dust because of the road outside, but we don't mind it much. Our team is small and we’ve mostly grown up around this area. We spend our days looking over data and talking about how to make things stronger. It’s not the kind of work that gets a lot of attention, but it’s important to us. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just do the research and keep the foundation running from our spot in Deva Nagar. Sometimes we sit outside when the sun starts to go down just to get a bit of a breeze. It’s a quiet, hardworking life on Old Jewargi Road and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
