The Horizon Academy

The Horizon Academy is located over in Gulbarga, specifically in the Msk Mill area with the pincode 585103. It's a busy part of town and we’ve been here quite some time now. Most mornings start with the sound of the gates opening and staff walking in to get things ready for the day. It’s a standard school setup really. We have the usual classrooms and a place where the kids can run around a bit during the breaks. The weather in Gulbarga gets pretty hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and everyone stays cool enough to study. We don’t have a lot of flashy stuff on the walls, just the regular charts and student work. People often ask where we are, and we just tell them to look for the mill area. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. We handle things as they come up, like a broken window or a lost textbook. The teachers are just regular people who live nearby and walk or take the bus to get here. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a local academy for the neighborhood kids. Life here is mostly about the bells ringing on time and making sure the registers are filled out properly. It gets a bit noisy during lunch, but then it settles back down for the afternoon lessons. We keep things simple because that is what works.
