Sk Hiremath And Sons

We are tucked away in Shop No. 6, right behind Raith Bhavan here in the Cotton Market area of Nehru Ganj. It stays pretty busy around here with all the trading going on. People usually find us after they pass the main market gates. We’ve been running Sk Hiremath And Sons for quite some time now. Most of the folks who stop by know us from the neighborhood. It gets a bit noisy during the peak hours when the cotton starts moving, but that is just how things go in this part of town. Our shop is not very big, just a regular space where we keep our stuff organized. My sons and I handle the day-to-day things. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially when it rains and the market area gets muddy. We spend a lot of our morning setting things up and waiting for the regulars to drop in for a chat or to pick something up. It is a simple way of living. We don't have any fancy signs or big lights. Just the name over the door. If you are walking around Nehru Ganj, you will probably see the Raith Bhavan first, and we are just a short walk behind that. We see a lot of faces every day, some new and some that have been coming here since we first opened the doors. It is a steady life and we just keep at it.
