We are out here in Sedam, near the Vasavadatta Cements plant. Specifically, you can find us at Qno:F-33/4 in Lakshmi Narayana Nagar. Being so close to the cement factory means there’s always a bit of dust in the air, but that’s just part of living in Gulbarga. Our place is basically where we keep all the electrical tools, wires, and parts for whatever job we’re on. It’s a simple quarters setup. Usually, the mornings start early with a quick check of the kit before we head out to a job site. Most of our work is local, fixing things up or doing wiring for the houses and small shops around here. It gets really hot in this part of Karnataka, so we try to get the hardest work done before the sun is right overhead. The neighborhood is mostly people working at the factory, so everyone knows each other. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We aren't a big company with fancy uniforms or big trucks. We just show up with our toolbags and get to it. Sometimes we’re waiting on parts to come in from the bigger cities, which can take a few days and slows us down. In the evenings, we’re usually just cleaning up the workspace and getting ready for the next day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
