Our office is in Gulbarga at house number 1-952/1B. We call the place Shruthi Nilaya. It is located right behind the railway station, so we hear the trains coming and going all day and night. It took us a little while to get used to the sound, but now we don't even notice it. It is actually a good way for people to find us since everyone knows where the station is. We work in the construction field. Our office is basically a house that we turned into a workspace. It is not fancy at all. We have maps on the walls and a lot of records from different building projects we have been involved with around Karnataka. The weather here in Gulbarga gets very hot, so we usually have the windows open to catch any breeze we can. We don't have a big staff. It is just a few of us who look after the planning and the paperwork. We spend a lot of time talking to workers and making sure materials are being delivered where they are supposed to go. We don't do any big promotions or anything. Most of our work comes from people who know us and have seen what we do. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and we are fine with that.
