Shiny Drive

Shiny Drive is our spot at 107/4 in the Khuba Layout. We are right on the Ring Road, so there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and buses going past. It’s a good location for a business though because everyone sees us. We handle cars mostly. It is a lot of grease and oil and washing down floors at the end of the day. The building is just a basic structure with enough space to get a few vehicles inside. We have some tools that are quite old but they still work fine for what we need. It gets really busy on the weekends when everyone decides they want their car cleaned or checked at the same time. During the week, it’s a bit more relaxed. We sit on plastic chairs out front when we have a break and drink some tea. The Ring Road is always being repaired, so there is usually some construction dust flying around our yard. It’s just a place where we work. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a TV or anything like that. If people want to wait, they usually just stand around or go get a snack nearby. We try to be honest about how long a job will take. Sometimes we get it right, and sometimes we are running behind. That is just how it goes.
