You can find us over at Plot No 291 in the N.G.O.S Colony, which is just off Jevargi Road in Gulbarga. The building is called Sivachetana. It is a bit of a residential area, so it is not as loud as the main market. Sanjayku and the rest of us have been working out of this spot for a while. We are not a massive factory with thousands of workers. It is a more personal setup. We deal with machine tools, which means there is always something oily or metallic sitting around the office. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything. If you come by, you will probably just see us at our desks or tinkering with something in the back. Gulbarga can get incredibly hot in the summer, so we have a couple of fans going all day long. We keep our own records and handle our own calls. It is a simple way to run things, but it keeps our overheads low. We do not go in for big promises or sales pitches. We just try to provide what people need when they need it. The colony is a nice place to work, and we have gotten to know the people living nearby. It feels more like a community than just a business district. We have a small porch where we keep our shoes before stepping inside. It is a habit we have all kept.
