Grasim Indrusries

You can find us out at Vv-1 in Adityanagar, which is along the Malkhedroad in Gulbarga. This part of Karnataka is pretty dry and the ground is quite rocky. We are situated right where the Rajashree Cement operations are. It’s a large area, and the Grasim Indrusries office is just one small part of it. The wind blows pretty hard out here, and there is always a bit of a hum from the machinery nearby. It’s not the kind of place where you’d come for a holiday, but for us, it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. Having a small crew here helps, mostly people who know the local area well. The commute can be long if you are coming from the main part of Gulbarga city, so most of us just stay close by. The office itself is pretty basic. Metal desks and old chairs that have seen better days fill the rooms. Spending a lot of time looking at schedules and checking on things is what we do. It’s a lot of routine work, really. Nothing too exciting happens most days, except maybe when a new shipment arrives or the weather changes suddenly. Staying focused and getting the work done is our goal. The water here is a bit hard, so we always have to make sure the filters are working. It’s just a regular workplace in a busy industrial belt. Keeping on top of everything is hard work but necessary. We just do it day by day. That is the way.
