Dr. P. g. Shan Orthopadic Centre

Our place is the Dr. P. g. Shan Orthopaedic Centre, and we’re located over at Totupa Chawk on Alwane Shodi Road in Gulbarga. It’s a local spot that’s pretty easy to find if you’re familiar with the chawk area. We mostly see people who have issues with their bones or joints—broken arms, bad knees, that sort of thing. It’s a practical clinic, not one of those fancy places with marble floors and coffee machines in the lobby. We have our treatment rooms and a place for people to sit while they wait. Gulbarga can get quite hot, so we try to keep the place as comfortable as possible for the folks coming in from the heat. The street outside is usually full of activity, but we’ve got a routine down inside. It’s mostly just the doctor and a couple of assistants helping out with the patients. We don’t run big ads or have a marketing department. Most people come here because their relatives or friends told them about us after they got their own injuries treated. It’s a small, local operation where we deal with whatever comes through the door. Some days are slow and other days we have a line out the door before we even open the shutters. We just take it as it comes and do the work. We’ve been at this location for a while now and feel like a real part of the Alwane Shodi Road community. It’s just how things are for us.
