Charaka Ayurvedic Hospital

Charaka Ayurvedic Hospital is located in Flat No 03 on the 1st floor of the Deshamukha Complex. You will find us right at Lalgeri Cross. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs if you are not used to it, but most people do not mind. The complex itself is quite familiar to everyone living around here. Inside the hospital, it smells mostly of different oils and dried herbs that we keep in the back rooms. It is not a huge place, just a simple flat converted so we can see patients and do the treatments. We have a few rooms set up with wooden tables and some benches for people to wait on. The 1st floor gets a decent breeze through the windows sometimes, which is nice when it is humid outside. Lalgeri Cross is always noisy with scooters and people shouting, but once you step inside, it feels a bit more settled. We start our day by setting out the supplies and checking the schedule. There is not a fancy reception desk or anything, just a table where we keep the register. Most of our visitors are regulars who have been coming for a long time. They know where everything is. We spend our time mixing things or talking to the people who walk in. It is a quiet kind of work compared to the street outside. We just keep things running as best as we can every day.
