Asian Earthmovers

Our business, Asian Earthmovers, is located out in Mashal, which is part of the Afzalpur Taluk in Gulbarga district. We are at the Siddarm B Dewatgi address. It’s a bit of a rural area. Things move at a different pace here compared to the big cities. We deal with heavy machinery, the kind of stuff used for digging and moving dirt, which is why we need the space we have out here. The dust is just part of the job when you’re working with earthmovers. Most people around Mashal know us because we’ve been here for a while. It’s a family-run kind of feel. Even if it’s a registered business, it feels that way. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment and making sure everything is ready to go when it’s needed for a job. The sun can be really harsh in Gulbarga. We try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. It’s not a fancy setup with a glass front; it’s more of a yard and a functional office. We don't really have a website or a big advertising budget. People just find us through word of mouth or because they see the machines parked near the post. It’s hard work. We get our hands dirty every day. That’s just the nature of the business in this part of Karnataka. We keep things simple and local, making sure the gear works and the customers are satisfied with the equipment they use.
