Out here in the Industrial Area, things stay pretty loud and dusty most of the time. That is where you will find Mamta Surgical Cotton Industries. It is a big space because dealing with cotton takes up a lot of room. The machines hum all day long and it gets quite warm in the back. We started here because the Industrial Area makes sense for a business like ours. There is plenty of space for the trucks to come and go. Dealing with surgical cotton is mostly about keeping things clean and moving. We spend a lot of time just moving bales around and making sure the floor is swept up. It is not glamorous work, but it is what we do. The name Mamta is on the front, and we have been in this same spot for quite a bit. You get used to the rhythm of the machines after a while. Sometimes the power goes out and it gets real quiet, which is a bit strange. But usually, it is just the sound of work. We have a small crew and everyone knows what their job is. We don't spend much time talking about what we do, we just get it done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that is how it goes when you are busy in an industrial zone.
