We are tucked away in Vasoya Park Society, which is right across from Sarvodaya School in K K Nagar. You’ll find us at Nirmesh Bhai Patel’s place. It’s more of a local operation than a big industrial site. Being near a school means there's a lot of noise during the day when the kids are out, but we’ve gotten used to it. We deal with cement mostly. It’s the kind of business where you get your hands dirty and you don’t worry too much about having a perfect shirt. We keep the paperwork in one corner and the stock wherever it fits. It's not a huge space, but it works for what we need to do in Ahmedabad. Sometimes people get confused finding the society, but once you see the school, you’re basically there. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a regular door where we do our daily work. Dealing with supply and demand in this part of town keeps us on our toes. Most days are about checking the inventory and making sure the local builders have what they need for their projects. We don’t do much talking, just get the bags moved and keep the records straight. It’s just us doing our thing in a corner of the city. We have a small kettle for tea and usually spend the late afternoons catching up on the logbooks while the sun goes down.
