Living and working in Mithapur is a different kind of experience. Our office for Tata Chemical Limited is right here in the TCL Township at Quarter No. Ssv 60. Since we are in the township, everything feels very close-knit. You see the same faces every morning when you walk to the office. The air here in Gujarat always has that dry heat, and sometimes you can smell the salt from the nearby plants. Quarter Ssv 60 is a simple place. It wasn't built to be a corporate headquarters, but it works for us. We have our files, a couple of desks, and a teapot that is always on. Life in the township moves at its own pace. There is no rush like you see in the big cities. We handle the paperwork for the chemicals and keep track of what needs to go where. Most of the staff lives nearby, so we do not have long commutes to worry about. We just walk over and start the day. The building is sturdy and has been here for many years. It has that old-school feel to it. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit during the break just to catch the breeze. It is a very practical setup for Tata Chemical Limited. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just want to make sure the work gets done correctly. The township life is quiet and we have grown quite fond of it over the years.
