Ultratech Cement

We are based out in Krishana Nagar, specifically near the P.O. in the Arail area of Naini. Being here in Allahabad means we deal with a lot of the local building activity. The office for Ultratech Cement is located at number 508. It’s a pretty modest space, nothing like those high-rise corporate buildings you see in the bigger cities. We handle the distribution for the cement around this part of Uttar Pradesh. Most days it’s just about managing the ledger and talking to the different contractors on the phone. The roads around Naini can be a bit rough sometimes, which makes the transport side of things a bit of a headache for us. We have a very small crew here. We aren't doing anything fancy or revolutionary; we just supply the material needed for houses and local shops. There’s a lot of noise from the street outside, and we usually have the ceiling fan running at full speed just to stay cool. It’s practical work. We don’t have a marketing department or any of that. If someone needs cement for a project, they usually just know where to find us. We've been at this for a while and we know the local geography pretty well. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expected, and then it’s a bit of a scramble to get more. It’s just the daily grind.
