Presstress Wire Industreis.Rakholi Silvass

We've been here in Rakholi for quite a while now. Most people around Silvassa know where the plant is, just off the main road in the village area. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise and wire being moved around every day. We handle the prestress wire work, which keeps us pretty occupied from morning till evening. It is mostly just about getting the orders sorted and making sure the loads get out on time to wherever they need to go. The yard can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is working in this part of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. We have a small crew that knows the machines inside out. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slower, especially during the heavy rains we get here, but we manage to keep things moving. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We just focus on the wire and making sure the specs are right before anything leaves the gate. Most of the guys living nearby walk to work. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with more buildings coming up, but we’re still right here in the same spot in Rakholi doing what we do. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t spend much time on paperwork if we can help it, preferring to be out on the floor where the actual work happens. That's pretty much us.
