Rose Id Cards

At Rose Id Cards, we spend most of our time at 14/268 on I C S Road. We are pretty close to the Dnr Community Hall, so it’s easy to find us if you know that landmark. Our shop is mainly about making ID cards for schools, offices, and whoever else needs them. It’s a very specific kind of job. We have these small machines that laminate and cut the cards. It’s not a huge operation, just a room where we get the work done. Sometimes the ink smells a bit strong, but we’re used to it. We take the photos, type in the names, and make sure the plastic is stuck on well. It’s funny how much people rely on a small piece of plastic. We see all kinds of faces on these cards every day. The shop stays fairly quiet compared to the main road, except when a big order comes in. Then we are all rushing to meet the deadline. We don’t have fancy chairs or a lobby. People usually just wait by the door or come back later in the afternoon. We've been at this address for a while and like being part of the neighborhood. It’s a steady job and we try to do it without making mistakes on the names or the pictures. It's just a small shop on I C S Road doing its own thing. We have boxes of blank cards waiting to be printed and the desk is always a bit of a mess with scraps of plastic.
