Zilla Parishad High School

Zilla Parishad High School is located right on Sathupally Road in Vissannapetaa, at number 5/325. If you live around here, you’ve probably passed by us many times. It is a big government school, so there is always a crowd. The road outside can get quite busy with buses and trucks, but once you step inside the gates, it feels like its own little world. We have many classrooms to look after, and they stay full throughout the year. The kids come from all over the Vissannapetaa area. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations, just the basics that a school needs to function properly. Every morning starts with a bit of a rush as everyone tries to get to their spot before the first bell. We spend a lot of time maintaining the grounds and making sure there is enough space for everyone to move around. It’s a lively place, sometimes even a bit loud, but that is to be expected with so many students. We try to keep the courtyard clean, though that is a never-ending task. The building is old and has a lot of history to it. You can see it in the walls and the floors. We just keep things moving and try to make sure every student has a desk and a chair. It’s honest work, and we are proud to be part of the local scene on Sathupally Road every single day.
