Supriya Hair Cutting Saloon

Supriya Hair Cutting Saloon is right at Hanuman Junction in Vijayawada. We are located on the main Vijayawada Road, so the traffic is constant and loud. You can hear the horns honking all day long while we are inside. It is a very busy spot to be in. The shop is a simple place where we do hair cutting and shaves for the people passing through the junction. We have a few chairs and the mirrors are lined up along the wall. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of hair over the years. We keep a bucket of water and some towels ready at all times. In Hanuman Junction, everyone is usually in a hurry to get somewhere else, so we try to work as fast as we can without being sloppy. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that move the air around. It gets very hot in the afternoons here in Vijayawada. We just keep the door open to catch whatever breeze there is. People from the trucks and the local buses often stop in because we are right on their route. It is a basic shop for basic needs. We don't try to make it look like something out of a magazine. It’s just our little place on the road and it works for us.
