Our office is at D No 1-60 in the 23-Ramanapudi area of Gudivada. It is a rural part of town here in Andhra Pradesh. Duggirala Pandubabu Farmer Producer Company Limited started because a few of us felt we could do more if we worked together. We are located right in the heart of the farming community. When you walk down the street here, you see people who know exactly what it means to work from sunrise to sunset. We are not a polished business with a shiny lobby. Our place is more of a spot to sit down, have some tea, and figure out how to get our produce to the market. Gudivada is a good place for this kind of work. We have grown up around here and we know the rhythms of the seasons. Sometimes we have too much rice or not enough of something else, and we have to figure it out as we go. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the farmers in Ramanapudi get what they need to keep going. It is simple, really. We spend our time checking on the harvests and talking to the families who have been farming this land for generations. There is a lot of history in this soil and we are just trying to add our own chapter to it without making too much of a fuss. We are just local people doing our best.
