Safe Rate Masala

Raniwara is a busy place, especially around Bhim Mall Road where we have our little setup for Safe Rate Masala. If you come by, you’ll see we’re right near the railway fatak. It gets pretty loud when the trains go past and everything shakes a bit, but we’re used to it by now. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. It's just a few rooms with bags of spices piled up and the smell of turmeric and chili everywhere. Most days it’s just us working through the piles, making sure things get packed right. Sometimes the traffic at the crossing gets backed up and people wander in just to see what the smell is. It’s a dusty spot, and the fans never seem to go fast enough in the heat. We spend a lot of time just managing the inventory and keeping the floor clean because the spice dust gets into every corner. It’s a simple life here in this part of town. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the routine. People know where we are because of the landmark. It’s been this way for a while now. We keep the doors open, watch the trains, and just keep working on the next batch of masalas. Nothing too complicated, just a local business doing what it does every day on this busy road.
