We are set up in the Old Grain Market area, which is always full of activity. Being near the Hanuman Mandir means there is always a crowd nearby, especially on certain days of the week when people come to pray. Maheshwary Treaders has been around this market for quite some time now. The building is old, like most of the structures around here, but it works for what we need. We spend our days surrounded by sacks and the smell of the market. It’s not a clean or quiet job, but it’s what we do. We deal with various goods and talk to a lot of different traders every day. Some days are long, starting before the sun is really up to get ahead of the rush and the heat. The bells from the temple are a constant sound in the background of our work. We don’t have a fancy office or expensive furniture. It’s just desks, ledgers, and the items we trade. People know where to find us when they need something from the market. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders as they come in. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest way to spend the day in this part of town. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that even walking is hard, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We've built many relationships here over the years and keep things simple.
