M. S Fashions

Our place is at Plot No. 76 in Udyog Kendra Extension- 1. M. S Fashions isn't a high-end boutique or anything like that. We are more of a production unit than a shop. We have rows of sewing machines and long tables for cutting the fabric. The area is quite industrial, so there’s always some kind of noise or construction going on nearby. We started here because the space was right for the kind of volume we wanted to handle. It’s not a pretty building to look at, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we handle all the paperwork and phone calls. Most of the time, I'm out on the floor with the workers. We don't have a human resources department or anything corporate like that. We just talk to each other and fix problems as they come up. The commute can be a bit long for some of us, but we make it work. We usually drink tea twice a day together during our breaks. It’s a noisy environment with all those machines running, but it feels productive. We aren't trying to change the world of fashion. We just make clothes that look good and fit right. It’s an honest day's work in a part of town that’s built for this kind of thing. We just keep going every day and stay busy.
