Mata Interiors

Mata Interiors is situated at 500 Ecotech 3, within Udyog Kendra 2 in the Surajpur area. It’s an industrial neighborhood where there are a lot of workshops and factories. We focus on interior work, which means our space is often filled with samples of wood, tiles, and different hardware. It isn’t a pretty studio like you might see in a magazine. It’s more of a functional office where we plan out projects and meet with suppliers. There is usually a bit of sawdust on the floor and some blueprints spread out on the main table. We spend a lot of time out at job sites, so the office can be a bit quiet during the middle of the day. Surajpur is a good location for us because it’s easy to get materials delivered and we have enough space to store things before they go out to a client’s house or office. We are just a small team of people who know how to put a room together. We don't use any fancy sales pitches or try to sound like big-shot designers. We just talk to people about what they need and then we try to build it for them. Sometimes things get delayed with suppliers, which can be frustrating, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a regular business and we take pride in doing a decent day's work. We’ve been at this unit for several years now and it suits us fine.
