Manhar Cables

Manhar Cables is situated at B-7/38 Site-C in the UPSIDC Surajpur Industrial Area. Being in an industrial area means we’re surrounded by other factories and lots of trucks. We mostly spend our time around the machinery that makes the different types of cables. It’s a lot of checking the spools and making sure the plastic coating is going on right. The warehouse can get pretty warm in the summer months, but that’s part of the job. We have been operating out of Surajpur for a good number of years. It’s a practical place to be because the transport links are right there for the raw materials. We aren't a big corporation, just a local outfit making sure we produce what’s needed for the local market. The floor is usually busy with people moving reels around and checking the thickness of the wires. We don't spend much time on fancy paperwork, just enough to keep the orders moving. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend a few hours getting them back in line. It’s the kind of work where your hands get a bit dirty from the grease and the metal. If you’re ever in Site-C of the UPSIDC area, you’ll find us at B-7/38. We just focus on keeping the machines running and the cables coming out right for our customers without any extra fuss. There is always a lot to do but we just take it one reel at a time and keep going.
