Surabh Security operates from E-203 in the Alfa-1 neighborhood of Gautam Budh Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area but we run the business out of this unit. It’s a decent place to be because it’s easy for the staff to reach us. We spend a lot of time on the ground, visiting the different spots where our guards are posted. When we are actually in the office, we’re usually catching up on logs or talking to new recruits. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to some of the busier commercial hubs, which we like. It gives us a bit of peace to get the planning done. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly hear about us from other folks in Gautam Budh Nagar. Managing a security team means you’re never really off the clock. My phone rings at odd hours of the night if there’s an issue at a gate or a fence somewhere. We just deal with it as it comes. Sometimes we have meetings in the small room at the back of E-203 to go over the basic rules with the newer guys. We keep some extra torches and uniforms in the cupboard just in case. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. Alfa-1 has been our base for a good while and we know the streets around here pretty well.
