Shankars Unique Collection

You can find us over at 102/104 on M G Road. It is a busy street and there is always something going on outside our door. We call the shop Shankars Unique Collection because we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. It is not a huge place, but we make use of all the shelf space we have. Most days it is just us tidying up the displays and talking to the regulars who stop by to see what is new. We have been on M G Road for a long time. People usually know the building because of the old sign out front. We sell various items, mostly things you might need for the house or as a gift for someone. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town, just a reliable one where you can find something different. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit crowded, but that is just how it goes when you keep bringing in new stock. If you are walking down M G Road, you will see us. We open up early in the morning and stay until the evening traffic starts to die down. It is a family-type atmosphere here. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. Just a few of us making sure the shop runs okay and the customers find what they are looking for without too much trouble. It is a simple business where the same faces show up day after day to shop.
