We are located out in the industrial area at No. 318-319 Echotech Extension in Greater Noida. It is a big, open space because we really need the room for all the large drums and the mixing equipment we use every day. Being in Echotech-1 means we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses, so it is always loud with heavy trucks moving in and out of the gates. The air around the shop smells like resin and fresh pigment most days. We started this paint business because we knew how to mix colors properly and wanted to do things our own way without a boss. The concrete floor is covered in dried paint spills from years of working on different batches. We do not really bother cleaning them up much since they just add a bit of character to the workspace. Most of our time is spent checking the consistency of the batches and making sure all the lids are hammered on tight before they go out. It is dusty, physical work, and our clothes usually have spots of white or yellow paint on them by the end of a long shift. We have a small, cluttered desk near the front where we keep the ledger and take down orders. Sometimes the power goes out in the district, and we just have to sit around and wait until the lights come back on to finish a batch. It is a basic operation, with no fancy showroom, just a lot of work happening in a big shed.
