National Pesticides & Chemicals

Our place, National Pesticides & Chemicals, is out in Ecotech 3. We are at Plot Number 26 in Udyog Vihar, specifically the Udyog Kendra-2 section. It’s an industrial zone, so there isn't much besides factories and warehouses around us. We spend our days dealing with various chemical mixes and pesticides. It’s a lot of measuring and packing things into containers. The warehouse is big and can get a bit stuffy in the summer months, but we have big doors that stay open most of the time. We move boxes around with a small trolley. Most of the people who work here live nearby and commute in every morning. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the delivery notes and files. It’s not very fancy, just a practical space for getting the orders ready. There’s a lot of safety stuff we have to pay attention to because of the chemicals we handle. We wear gloves and masks when we need to. The trucks come in the afternoon to pick up the stock for the farmers and shops. It’s a steady routine for us. We’ve been in Udyog Vihar long enough to see new buildings go up all around us. Sometimes the roads are a mess when it rains, but the work doesn't stop. We just focus on getting the right mixtures into the right bottles. It’s a basic operation but it’s important.
