Mrk Grc

Mrk Grc is out in the Surajpur Industrial Area at Site-5, specifically at D-9 in Kasana. This is a real industrial zone, so it’s all about big spaces and heavy lifting. We work with GRC, which means there’s a lot of concrete and molds around the site. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust, and the mixers are often running loudly. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit or fancy shoes. We spend our days out on the floor, making sure the casts are set right and the finishes look okay before they go out. Kasana is a bit of a drive for some, but it’s where all the space for this kind of heavy work is. We have a small office on-site where we handle the orders and talk to the site managers. Most of our guys have been working with concrete and building materials for a long time, so they know the rhythm of the place. It’s a tough environment, especially when the sun is beating down on the industrial sheds, but we just keep at it. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do; we just make the products and get them ready for the building sites. It’s a straightforward operation here at D-9. We just focus on the physical work and getting things loaded onto the trucks.
