We’re out in the Surajpur Industrial Area, specifically Site 5 at D-10/3. It’s a bit of a drive to Kasna, but this is where all the construction and trading stuff happens. Hallim Precision Construction Trading Pvt. Ltd. isn't a fancy name we spent months thinking about, it just describes what we do. The building is functional. Concrete floors, metal doors, lots of tools and parts laying around. It’s an industrial spot, so it’s loud and there’s always a truck backing up somewhere. We spend our time looking at blueprints or checking inventory. It’s honest work. We don't wear suits. Most days it's just jeans and boots because that's what the job needs. We have a small office section where we handle the trading side of things. It can get pretty hot in the summer out here, but we have some fans that help. We’ve been in this unit for several years. We know the other guys on the block. We help each other out if someone needs a hand moving something heavy. We don't have a big marketing team. We just do the construction and trading work as it comes in. It’s a straightforward life. We keep busy and stay out of trouble. There’s a certain satisfaction in finishing a day of hard work at the site.
