If you head over to the Udyog Kender-II Industrial Area, you can find Asian Hinges at Plot 113. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there is always a lot of noise and movement around us. We spend most of our time dealing with metal and machinery. Making hinges might not sound very exciting to most people, but it’s what keeps us busy from morning till evening. The shop floor is full of the smell of oil and the sound of metal being pressed. It’s a tough environment, especially when it’s hot outside, but the crew here is used to it. We don't have any polished office space or a fancy lobby. There’s just a small area for paperwork and the rest is all production. We’ve had some of the same guys working these machines for years. They know exactly how everything should sound when it’s running right. Sometimes a machine acts up and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which is frustrating, but that’s just life in a factory. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the parts we send out are solid and do what they are supposed to do. It’s basic, honest work. Most of our customers are other businesses who have been buying from us for a long time. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can.
