We started Home And We Handicrafts Pvt Ltd. a while ago in Site - IV on Kasna Road. D-4/1 is where we keep all the things we make. It’s mostly just us working through the daily tasks and making sure the boxes go out on time. The space is usually full of wood scraps and tools. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty but that is just how it goes when you are working with your hands. People ask why we do it and mostly it is just because we like making stuff. My cousin helps out with the packing sometimes when things get busy. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the workshop and a few desks where we handle the paperwork. Kasna Road can get pretty crowded during the day so getting the trucks in and out is always a bit of a challenge. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock piles up and we have to move things around to find what we need. It’s a lot of manual work. We have been in this spot for a bit now and the neighbors know us. We aren't doing anything flashy. Just putting together different handicraft items and making sure they look okay before they leave the door. Sometimes the lights flicker when the machines are all running at once. That's just part of being in an industrial area I guess. We stay late most Fridays to catch up on things. It's a long day but we get it done.
